Cover Reveal: Memoirs of a Neurotic Zombie series by Jeff Norton

As big fans of author Jeff Norton here at MG Strikes Back, we can't wait for the second in his Memoirs of a Neurotic Zombie series, Escape from Camp, coming from Faber on 17th September! When asked if we'd like to reveal the cover to this book, and the matching one for the reissue of book one, the only way we could have said no is if someone had eaten our brains!

(Look, it's early, it was funnier in my head!)

"I’m thrilled with Faber's new jackets for the Memoirs of a Neurotic Zombie novels. They feel eye-catching and iconic; with just the right hint of zombie motif (a brain!).  I actually really liked the original cover, with the illustration of Adam Meltzer, but going out and doing so many school visits revealed that lots of readers expected the book to be a highly-illustrated, and younger skewing read than it actually is. Since people do judge a book by its cover (despite being advised otherwise), kudos to Faber for giving our neurotic zombie a fresh new look!"

Agree that the illustration of Adam on the original cover is awesome, but so are these brilliant new ones! So without further ado...
